கட்டுடைந்த வெள்ளம் கரையழிக்கும் கட்டுடன்வந்தால் வளங்கொடுக்கும் நீர்

Water that breaks its bounds tears away the bank; within its bounds, the same water brings plenty.

85. Anger justifies itself

காரணம் கேட்கும் புதுச்சினம் நீண்டபின்காரணமே யாகும் சினம்

kaaranam kedkum pudhuschinam neendapinkaaraname yaakum sinam

New anger asks for a reason; once it has lasted, anger itself is the reason.

86. Hurt within families

சினத்தால் உடைத்தாள் ஒருகலம் உள்ளேஇனத்தார் உடைந்தது நூறு
